Today, something different – not harp guitars, but harps!
In 2013, I wrote a special non-harp-guitar post about a visit from Los Angeles music icon Fred Walecki. (I would urge you to begin there.)
A couple months ago, long after our move to CT and still digitally unpacking, I stumbled upon the scans I made of some of his dad’s personal mementoes he had kindly lent me. They seemed worth a story, and so I started researching it. Just as I was about to finish it, links appeared all over Facebook to a wonderful article just published by Fred’s daughter Nancy, of The Atlantic. This all coalesced into this special memory and brand-new article about Fred’s equally famous father…and some famous friends!
