As you can probably imagine, I’ve had countless rewarding experiences over the 20-plus years of Harpguitars.net. Here’s just one example. Having an H. A. Weymann & Son harp guitar in my Historical Makers Encyclopedia back in 2004 was interesting enough. But that was due to a single known specimen. Today, we have five (three are only “attributed to,” but trust me!). And like the most fascinating harp guitar builders, in the Weymann Company’s output we see a wonderful variety of influences and designs.
While all of these specimens have appeared on the site in various blogs, this new PDF article completely re-evaluates them in (likely) order of appearance, with complete historical information on the Company for the first time.
Please enjoy Weymann Harp Guitars.
