Continuing yesterday’s blog…when we were last seen taking a lovely ride through the canals of Brugge.

We later explored as much of the canals as we could by foot.
We could easily envision a life having a backyard on the water…
…with a place for the dogs even!
We continued to haphazardly stroll, just delighted to discover yet another wonderful structure around every corner. Check out the oval and teardrop-shaped windows…
…and centuries-old creature atop the home. I could so live here.

The best part of Brugge for Jaci was that she could drink unlimited quantities of Belgian ale, as it didn’t contain the allergy-inducing preservatives we require in the States. All in all, a terrific start to a vacation, but it was time for our train ride to:
