I was invited to help kick off a 12-hour “Make Music Pasadena” festival, which started at the lovely, oak-paneled Pasadena Central Library this morning.  I brought Frank along for a couple tunes as well.  I did a bit of my historical provenance schtick and played a short set for the small, but very appreciative audience.

Other than that, I’ve just been super busy on the recording compilations (first one is about ready for mastering, and pretty exciting).

I did get in and photograph a fascinating Dyer specimen that I’ll blog about shortly.  And tonight I’ll be shooting the instrument below that just came in for consignment, getting the listing going and posted.  (The original case is missing a piece, so the protruding bits should whet the appetite of savvy HG aficionados)
