Holloway House Concert

Had a great time at Scott Burwell’s first Holloway House Concert last Sunday night.

That’s Scott with Muriel Anderson, the first performer of a hopefully long-running series.

This first show was in the new home he and fiance Jen moved into just a couple months ago in Pasadena.

Jen (in back) and assorted family and friends served “or d’oeuvres” that was really more like a feast.  Great food, great music!

Scott played a couple harp guitar pieces as a warm-up; Muriel played her nylon 6-string and one of the recent Holloway harp guitars (a couple of new HG arrangements included).

She ended the show with an impromptu mini-set with a (fantastic) fiddler friend whom she apparently hadn’t seen for 25 years…

Speaking of Holloway harp guitars, I’ve got the new listing up, with a huge FAQ page (in progress) as well.  This may seem a bit beyond a normal courtesy to my customers, as it’s in answer to the constant questions I receive from other Holloway (and other Dyer copy) owners.  Feel free to (privately) send me additional questions or comments that you think others could benefit from.
